GORDON´S

Después de repasar las danzas europeas y la cultura de Polonia, Rusia, Dinamarca y Austria; os enseñamos ahora nuestro último baile. El Gay Gordons; una danza popular escocesa muy popular hacia finales del siglo XIX, donde cada pareja lleva a cabo los mismo pasos, normalmente en un círculo alrededor de la sala. Aquí os mostramos parte de esta actividad.

After learning about European dancings and cultures from Poland, Russia, Denmark and Austria; it´s time to show you The Gay Gordons; which  is a popular dance at ceilidhs and other kinds of informal and aocial dance in Scotland. It is an «old-time» dance, popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in which every couple dances the same steps, usually in a circle around the room. There you have an stunning perfomance.
