ENGLISH AROUND US

It´s obvious that English is all around us,even if we don´t live in an English-speaking country. Some words we use in Spanish are in English. This  activity is based on this,we asked the students to sit in groups for brainstorming ( they had to think about words in English that they usually use in their daily lives). After a few minutes, they shared their words with the class to see which of them were the most repeated. Once they had a list, they made a poster with those words to make them feel conscious about how many English  words we use in Spanish.

EL INGLÉS NOS RODEA

Es obvio que el inglés nos rodea,incluso aunque no vivamos en un país de habla inglesa. Algunas palabras que utilizamos en castellano están en inglés. Propusimos una actividad basada en esto,les pedimos a los alumnos que se sentasen en grupos para hacer una tormenta de ideas. Tras unos cuantos minutos, compartieron sus palabras con el resto de la clase para ver cuáles se repetían más.Una vez que tuvieron una lista , hicieron un cartel con estas palabras para que fuesen conscientes de cuántas palabras de origen inglés usamos a diario en castellano.
